This is a gorgeous elk rawhide drum and it’s a good sounding one!
It measures app 14″ across and it’s 3-1/2″ thick.
It is a single sided drum and will be shipped with a ‘beater’.

If you look closely at the pictures, you will see that one of the rawhide strips has snapped. (you can see it on the left-hand side of both pictures) Because of this, the drum is being offered at a great price. It still sounds great and it’s very functional just the way it is. However, if you’re crafty, you may want to fix it.
This piece was handcrafted by Lakota artist, Darrell Young. Darrell is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Indian Reservation.
