Description
This is a Steatite or Black Pipestone 4-winds pipe. The 4-Winds style pipes that we make may look a little different than ones you’ve seen in the past. We put our rings on the bowl at an angle. It looks somewhat like a swirl, but it isn’t. Each rings is separate from the others. This pipe bowl is app 5″ long and it stands app 3″ tall. When the bowl is connected to the redwood stem, the total length will be app 19-1/2″ long. This pipe will make a very nice personal or ceremonial pipe for someone. This particular pipe also has a slightly ‘flared’ bowl on it. Black Pipestone or Steatite is a material that holds up to heat very well. It is an ideal material to use for pipes. All pipes come standard with a beaded California Redwood Stem unless otherwise noted…although this pipe does come with some stem options.
