Description

This is a red buffalo pipe made out of Red Pipestone or Catlinite. It would work great as either a personal or ceremonial pipe.

For 100’s of years, the buffalo provided nearly everything Native Americans needed to survive and thrive.  Nothing went to waste.  It provided food, shelter, and tools.  The bladder was used for a water container and even small bones were used for things like fish hooks.  Because the buffalo was so important, we honor it by making personal and ceremonial pipes depicting it.

This type of stone holds up exceptionally well to heat so it’s an ideal material to use for ceremonial pipes.
The stone pipe bowl measures app 3-1/2″ long and it is app 2″ tall.
When the stem is inserted the total length will be 14-1/2″ long.
The pipe bowl will be signed upon request.  Just leave us a little note on the order form/checkout page.

All pipes come standard with an unbeaded Cedar Stem unless otherwise noted…although this pipe does come with some nice stem options. (including hardwood stems as well as beadwork and leather fringes) This pipe is pictured with a beaded Redwood Stem.
