Description
This is a personal sized white buffalo pipe made out of Black Pipestone.
This type of material holds up very well to heat, so it’s an ideal material to use for pipes.
The white buffalo is made out of a translucent type of alabaster from Italy.
The buffalo or tatanka is featured on many of our effigy pipes. The buffalo was key to the Native American’s very survival and the white buffalo in particular had great spiritual significance.
The stone pipe bowl measures a little over 3″ long and it is app 2″ tall.
When the stem is inserted the total length will be 11-3/4″.
This will make a nice little personal or ceremonial pipe for someone. If you’re looking for something larger with a buffalo on it, there are many options currently available. (More effigy and buffalo pipes)
All pipes come standard with a beaded California Redwood Stem unless otherwise noted. You do however have an option to upgrade to black walnut, aromatic cedar, cherry, or ash.
The pipe will be signed by the artist upon request. There’s a box on the order form where you can leave us a ‘note’.
