This is a catlinite or red pipestone Elbow style pipe. This pipe is a gorgeous dark red color through most of it…however if you look closely at the pictures, you’ll see that on the one side, there is a little bit of lighter color near the point where the stem goes into the pipe and on the other side, there’s a little bit of unusual color where the tobacco will go into the pipe.
It is a very attractive ceremonial pipe!
The pipe bowl is app 4″ long and it stands app 3″ tall. When the bowl is connected to the redwood stem, the total length will be app 21″ long. This pipe will make a very nice ceremonial pipe for someone.
All pipes come standard with a beaded California Redwood Stem unless otherwise noted.
