6 Smaller Pieces of Black Pipestone (Great For Personal Pipes)

Here we have 6 smaller pieces of high quality black pipestone that would work great to make some smaller personal pipes.
Our black pipestone is great to carve and it holds up well to heat.  It’s a perfect carving material to make pipes out of.   This material will be a nice solid black color after it’s polished with beeswax and polished with a soft cloth.  (We like to put a light coat of light oil on the pipes too after they’re waxed and polished)

The stone is a gray color until it’s waxed.  I also have a tape measure in the picture so that you can see how big the pieces are.  Most of them are about 1″ to 1-1/4″ thick…  The thickest piece is 2-1/8″ and the thinnest piece is 1″ thick.  This is another type of premier carving stone… It’s soft enough to easily work, but it’s hard enough that it will hold great detail.
