Description
This is a Native American eagle head pipe made out of Black Pipestone or Steatite.
This type of material holds up very well to heat, so it’s an ideal material to use for pipes.
The stone pipe bowl measures app 3-3/4″ long and it is app 2″ tall.
When the stem is inserted, the total length will be 15-3/8″.
This will make a nice little personal or ceremonial pipe for someone.
The eagle head pipe was hand crafted by Darwin Wallenburg and will be signed with his Indian name if you request it.
There’s a spot on the order form where you can leave us a ‘note’.
All pipes come standard with an unbeaded Cedar Stem unless otherwise noted…although this pipe does come with some nice stem options. (including hardwood stems as well as beadwork and leather fringes) This pipe is pictured with a beaded Redwood Stem.
If you’d like to try and make your own pipe, we offer pipe blanks that come already drilled. There are also books on the site and tools that would be helpful in the Craft Supply category.
