Huge White Buffalo on a Black Plains Style Pipestone Bowl 31-1/2″

This is a VERY large White Buffalo pipe made out of Black Pipestone, with the buffalo being made out of a white colored stone from Italy. It will make a superb ceremonial pipe.  

Black Pipestone is another perfect material to use for ceremonial pipes as it holds up very well to heat.  It’s the material used for the main part of this White Buffalo pipe.  There are many pipes made from this material 1000’s of years ago that are still in existence and being used yet today.
The stone pipe bowl measures a little over 8″ long and it is a little over 4-1/4″ tall.  When the stem is inserted into the pipe, the total length will be 31-1/2″ long.
The white buffalo pipe and stem was handcrafted by Darwin Wallenburg.  He is an accomplished pipemaker, who for years, lived near Pipestone, MN and now resides in Arizona.  The artist will be happy to sign your pipe if you request it at the time of purchase.  There is an area on the order form where you can leave a ‘note’.

The pipe is being sold with a double-beaded black walnut stem. 

The stem is decorated in two places with leather trim, leather fringes, and beadwork.
