Large Piece of Black Pipestone or Steatite to Make Multiple Pipes Out of (App 7″ x 5″ x 1-1/4″ thick)

This is a very nice large piece of Black Pipestone or Steatite that would be suitable to make a few ceremonial pipes out of…as well as maybe multiple personal sized pipes.
After this stone is heated, has beeswax melted over it and is polished with a rag, it will be a very nice dark black color.
The black stone that we are selling is the best we’ve ever had the privilege to work with. There are no hard spots in it. It is soft enough to easily carve, yet hard enough to hold great detail…and it will shine up great!
This stone will be comparable to the high quality red pipestone, if you’ve had the opportunity to work with that.
One of the nice things about this stone is that it’s about 1/2 the price of the Sacred Red Pipestone but just as easy to work with.
This piece is app 7″ x 5″ and it is 1-1/4″ thick.
It is one of the best carving stones out there.
